Global warming? Rain forest? extinguished species? change your diet…

You can turn it around as much as you please.

If there is one culprit to point at for all/most of the disasters we know – food scarcity, water scarcity, water pollution, global warming, rain forest destruction… – it’s the steak in your plate. It’s not much about wether meat and fish are healthy for you. I strongly believe, for a good number of good reasons, they are not.

It’s only about how non-sustainable the way we eat is. We’ve been eating out our own planet for decades. I’ve stopped eating meat and fish, at first, for my health, but everything I’ve learnt ever since made the choice irrevocable. Even if I was prooved wrong on the idea that meat and fish are unhealthy, knowing what their production imposes on our environment makes it a total no-go. What do YOU think?

“(…) in 2006, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization issued a report stating that the livestock business generates more greenhouse gas emissions than all forms of transportation combined?”

When are we going to REALLY change this?

When are YOU going to really change this?

Watch these short clips. Please do. This facts make me nauseous. I don’t want to be part of it. I don’t want to be responsible for that. I don’t want my kids to inherit a planet that was trimmed and skinned for that. Finally, what makes me angry at times, it the thought that I’m sharing my precious planet with tens of thousands of cattle raised to suffer and die to please people who eat them – it’s a nonsense. I used to be one of them and I kind of ate my former self for that now. It’s naive but sincere.
